Tin Brass

Lost Wax Casting

Material Info

About

Tin Brass is a copper-based alloy containing approximately 80% copper, 15% zinc, and 5% tin. It is valued for its warm metallic appearance, fine detail resolution, and premium finish, making it ideal for jewelry, accessories, decorative objects, and miniatures.

This material captures intricate details while delivering the look and feel of solid metal parts. Over time, Tin Brass may develop a natural patina, which can be polished to restore its original luster. During finishing, external surfaces are polished, while tight internal features may remain unpolished.
