# 3D printed Alumide models video

March 3, 2010

We shot a quick video showing you some of the test models we made for the Alumide material in the sunlight. You get to see Bathsheba’s [Bioform](/content/model/40238/Bioform.html) & [Vorodo](/content/model/12661/Vorodo.html), Virtox’s [Gyro the cube](/content/model/36851/gyro_the_cube.html) & [TriMatrix](/content/model/78857/TriMatrix%20-%20Sponsor.html), DeLaVega’s [Ball Bearing](/content/model/23733/ball_bearing___25_.html) & ejisfun’s [Ferris Wheel](/content/model/77140/ferris_wheel_8cm.html). I should really have opened with “we 3D printed a Ferris Wheel.” We’re offering the Alumide material until the 14th of March. The material is polyamide mixed with Aluminum. It is rigid but less strong than White, Strong & Flexible. I think it looks lovely and am sure that Alumide would be Frtiz Lang’s favorite 3D printing material.
